Earlier today, the Telegraph released a list of 100 companies regarded to be their best guess at the most promising start-ups in Europe. We’re pleased to announce that AdInsight has been selected as one of these companies; more specifically, in the Advertising and Marketing category.
The winners of each category, as well as the overall winner, will be announced in an awards ceremony in London on 12th April 2011.
Judging has been ongoing for the past six months, and a number of criteria have been examined to find the winners. According to the Telegraph, this is what has been considered:
Each company will be scored out of 5 for each of the following:
Team
Who is the CEO? Does the team have a history of successful companies? Any relevant experience? The quality of the founding team is one of the key indicators of future success.
Scalability
What’s the potential for this product? Is it an idea that can expand rapidly to take on new customers in new verticals?
Traction
How successful has the company been so far in getting interest from customers and partners? Is the company already enjoying strong growth?
Market
How big is the potential market for this product or service? This is where our judges will reward the game-changers: the companies for whom the sky is the limit.
Wow factor
Is this a fabled “killer product”? Here’s where the judges can reward an idea so innovative or smart that when they heard about it they just said, “Wow”.
This will give each company a total score out of 25, which the judges will use to guide them as they select a winner in each category and an overall winner and runner-up.
